Holiday Potato Salad

To prepare potato salad we will need:

- 2.5 kg of potatoes
- 3 carrots (or prepared peas with carrots in a jar)
- 200 g boiled peas (or peas with carrots as described above)
- 8 balls of whole black pepper
- 4 balls of fresh pepper
- 2 white onions
- 6 eggs
- 300 ml sterilized cucumbers
- 300 ml mayonnaise
- 300 ml of tartar sauce
- 2 tablespoons of full-fat mustard
- salt according to your taste



Boil the potatoes in their skins in salt water for about 25 minutes. If they are sufficiently cooked, pour off the water and let it cool down. After cooling, peel.

If you have carrots and peas in the pickle at hand, drain them. However, if you have fresh peas and carrots, boil them first in salty water until they soften, let them cool off and then cut the carrots into small cubes.

Boil the eggs and peel after cooling. Finely cut the cleaned onion, you can add it raw or boil it and let it cool.

Cut the potatoes into small cubes and add to the prepared container. Then gently add salt and mix them. Add pre-cut onions, peas, carrots, pickled cucumbers also cut into small cubes and pour a bit of the pickle juice then mix well.

Add sliced ​​eggs, add salt and stir to taste.

Finally, add 1 tablespoon of mustard, 300 ml of mayonnaise and 300 ml of tartar sauce, season with pepper, mix everything together and leave to rest in a cool place.

The prepared and chilled salad is served as a side dish to fried meat or with cheese and cooked ham, etc. One of the ideas is to use as a substitute for spreads to prepare fancy slices of bread.
