Bebabel has prepared the second recipe from our trilogy of Christmas recipes, this time a sweet christmas gingerbread cake (but without ginger 😉 )

Christmas gingerbread cake

This recipe is using a mug as a measuring unit, where one mug is 250 ml.

To prepare Christmas ginger cake, we will need the following ingredients:

- 3/4 of a mug of brown sugar
- 2 mugs of flour
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of sifted cocoa
- 3 tablespoons of strawberry jam
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 packet of gingerbread powder
- 2 mugs of lukewarm milk
- 3/4 of a mug of oil
- 3 eggs


Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Break the eggs and add them to a bowl, add the sugar a mix together until white foam.
Once ready, add cinnamon, cocoa, jam, a mix everything well together.
When everything is well-mixed, add two mugs of flour, baking soda and gingerbread powder.

Only once everything is mixed together, add lukewarm milk and oil and remix everything.

In the meantime, grease the plate with butter and pour the dough into it.

Put the prepared plate in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes.

When your cake is ready, take it out and let it cool.

You can decorate the cake if you wish by sprinkling powdered sugar, pouring chocolate, or spreading jam and then pouring the chocolate on it.
